aving one new shoot and one young tender leaf, this green tea is harvested in the earliest crop, making it a tea of superior quality. The bamboo tea leaf is named for its shape which closely resembles that of a bamboo leaf. The flat glossy leaves are pointed at both ends and when it is steeped it releases a delightfully mellow taste and a clear green brew. |

lending the highly aromatic and edible Lavender flower with longjing tea gives a surprising twist to this classic green tea. The beautiful green and purple-blue colour entices the eye, while the mind and body are seduced by the calming effects of the Lavender. Also delicious served as iced tea with mint and raw sugar or honey added for extra sweetening. |

his green tea is special for its delicate flavour and careful hand preparation. Skilled artisans hand roll the individual long leaves, tying them together in bunches. The inner leaves of the bunch are clipped and the outer leaves are molded into a ball shape. Each ball is wrapped in mesh and steamed, then re-wrapped to dry in special paper, so that the shape is maintained. When brewed the ball unfolds into a flower-like blossom. |
